Privacy Policy

HappyNoL Private Limited (“HappyNoL”, “we”, “us”) operates app.happynol.com. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We will never sell your data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide our services:

  • Account information — your name, phone number, and email address when you sign up.
  • Business data — GSTIN, product descriptions, pricing, orders, and marketplace listing data that you upload or that is generated by our AI tools on your behalf.
  • AI usage data — prompts and inputs you provide to our AI tools, to improve response quality. This data is anonymised before any model training.
  • Device & usage data — browser type, pages visited, and session duration for product improvement. Collected via PostHog (no third-party ad tracking).

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our services.
  • To send transactional messages via WhatsApp (OTP, order alerts) using WhatsApp Business API (Meta).
  • To process payments via Razorpay.
  • To generate marketplace listings and sync with Amazon, Flipkart, and Meesho on your instruction.
  • To improve our AI models — only using anonymised, aggregated patterns, never individual business data in identifiable form.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase (Postgres) hosted on AWS ap-south-1 (Mumbai, India). Data at rest is encrypted with AES-256. Data in transit uses TLS 1.3. Access is controlled via Row-Level Security policies — only you can read your own data.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., GST records).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho) — only when you explicitly connect your account and request listing sync.
  • Razorpay — payment processing. Governed by Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
  • Shiprocket / Delhivery — shipping fulfilment, only order & address data needed for delivery.
  • Meta (WhatsApp Business API) — WhatsApp OTP and transactional messaging only.
  • Legal requirements — if required by Indian law or a valid court order.

5. Your Rights

  • Data export — email us at care@happynol.com to request a full export of your data in JSON format.
  • Account deletion — email care@happynol.com and we will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
  • Correction — update your profile information at any time from Settings.
  • Opt-out of marketing — reply STOP to any WhatsApp marketing message. We will never message you without your consent.

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication (Supabase session token). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can decline non-essential cookies via our consent banner.

7. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes via WhatsApp or email at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
